Section 7 | This is the section between Rainbow Road and the lower lake. The Army Corps of Engineers has approved our ditch improvement plan which will reroute the ditch. It will become much easier to manage and control.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers / Nationwide Permit Pre-construction Notification for Relocated Ditch
Here is the application for the ditch re-alignment that was sent sent to the USACE in February 2023. The USACE has determined that activities associated with the project are authorized by 2021 NWP No. 18, Minor Discharges. This permit verification is valid until March 14, 2026.

THE MINI LAKES: Above the lower lakes is a dense region of very tall bushes. The old ditch path passes through here. The beavers have created numerous dams and resulting mini lakes.
