Its that time of year again and we all need to keep both the upper and lower gates closed.
Thank you!
Many go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after. -Henry David Thoreau
Dam Renovation Project
• The grading on the lower dam should be wrapped up in the next few weeks. You will still see some other work around the dams (catwalk, weir by outlet, vegetation removal) during the summer.
Stocking
• We are working with our fish supplier to schedule our annual stocking of rainbow trout around the work so that the fish have the best chance of survival.
Regulations
• Our members and guests are doing a great job complying with the fishing regulations (wearing badges, accompanying guests, catch and release on lower lake, etc.).
• Brush up on the rules by going here: https://beaverlakes.org/fishing-regulations/
Badges
• If members need badges, they can contact Tim Ratterman – tratt9@gmail.com
Log your Catch at Upper Lake
• Please remember to log your catch at the kiosk at the upper lake. This is especially important when you are taking any fish home to eat as we use this information to know how many fish to stock the next year.
Fishing Clinic
• We will be hosting a fishing clinic on a Saturday morning in July. We will offer our insights into how you can improve your results and help keep healthy fisheries in Beaver Lakes. We will announce the date soon.

DO YOU RECYCLE IN LAKE COUNTY?
Our neighbors at Friends of Twin Lakes remind us that Lake County has a grant to help pay for recycling, but we need to do a better job recycling the right items the right way. They also have more cardboard recycling bins at the landfill for businesses. SEE FLYER AND DETAILS BELOW—you may be surprised regarding jar lids and plastic bottle caps.

The Campgrounds will not be taking new reservations until mid-June/early July due to the septic system replacement. The restroom at the Lodge and The Miners’ Cabin (Cabin 4) will remain available for reservations but will experience a shut down for a brief period when the connection to the new system is made. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Attorney costs associated with STR results review are as follows: ELHA will pay for the 1st hour of attorney fees for the review by a member. After that, the member will be billed directly $115.00 an hour by our attorney for any time over the first hour.
