Members of the Empire Lodge Homeowners Association overwhelmingly voted to pass the special assessment for the purpose of purchasing water rights for the community.
The votes were 102 Yes, and 11 No. The number of “Yes” votes meets the majority required under the rules.
The Special Assessment is $1,750 and is due on or before September 11, 2020.

This is a friendly reminder to cast your vote and be heard for the Special Assessment for Water Rights Purchase.
The deadline for the votes to be received at the Caretaker’s office is no later that 5:00 pm Friday, August 21, 2020..
Be sure to mail your vote for the Water Rights Special Assessment well before the deadline to allow the post office to get it to BLE in time.
We suggest mailing before August 12th to be on the safer side.
You can also simply drop your ballot off at the Caretaker’s office before the deadline.

Whoever opens the gate must close or wait until the next person closes. The ELHA member of records is responsible for violations by guests, family members, agents, contractors, vendors, and employees.
All offenses: $250 fine.
There may occasions, during the winter months, when the upper gate may be left open, but only when permission has been received from Jim Moyer. Signs on the upper gate will inform you when it can be open and when it must be closed. The bottom gate must be closed at all times.
