The Arkansas Valley Water Collaborative chipping crews will be in Beaver Lakes on July 23, 2026. This is a great opportunity to do fire mitigation on your lot and protect your buildings and the forest.

- You must sign up at https://forms.gle/oY2r5ByCRvZa7eMx8 to get on the chipping list. Be sure to select the Beaver Lakes: July 23rd chipping day
- There is no charge, but a donation is appreciated: https://arkcollaborative.org/donate/
- Build piles next to the road with all the butt ends facing the same direction. This helps speed up the chipping.
- Do not include root balls. They can contain rocks that will damage the chipper.
- In addition to dead trees, include green trees and branches that have been cut away from the perimeter of your buildings.
- Do not include any trees with a trunk diameter over 6”. That should be used for firewood.
- Sagebrush can be included.
- Homeowners do not need to be home to participate. The crew appreciates any help you can provide.
