New! to Beaver Lakes Estates and available to all Members is Internet access through the newly installed Wi-Fi at the Lodge. This will allow BLE to hold in person meetings at the Lodge once again starting with the November meeting. The meetings will continue to be hosted through Zoom for Members who are not able to attend them at the Lodge. We will be working out the technical aspects for this so please bear with us.
The Wi-Fi will be open and available to Members at the Lodge. The lodge however will be closed for the winter with the water shut off but will be opened for scheduled meetings and special events that may be planned. The Wi-fi can be accessed from the area around the Lodge and Members without internet access will no longer need to drive to the highway to gain access.
The Wi-fi reaches into Cabin 4 and Members reserving there will have access to the Wi-fi as part of their reservation.

In the next few days, roughly 100 pairs of cattle (cow + calf) will be driven up Empire Valley Drive to a higher summer pasture. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but it should continue to strengthen our relationship with Moyer Ranch. If you come across a herd of cows on the road, please slow down. Don’t honk. Creep forward slowly or just wait and watch cowboys and cowgirls on horses moving cattle.
We have worked with the US Forest Service to get a chipper into the neighborhood for the past few years. They are short-staffed right now and will not be able to provide a chipper and crew. They hope to be able to provide the service again in the fall of 2023.

Whoever opens the gate must close or wait until the next person closes. The ELHA member of records is responsible for violations by guests, family members, agents, contractors, vendors, and employees.
All offenses: $250 fine.
There may occasions, during the winter months, when the upper gate may be left open, but only when permission has been received from Jim Moyer. Signs on the upper gate will inform you when it can be open and when it must be closed. The bottom gate must be closed at all times.
