Members are responsible for the proper control and supervision of their pet(s), and the pet(s) of their Guests and Tenants at all times. Dogs roaming freely within Beaver Lakes Estates is not permitted. This can be a danger to people and wildlife and is in direct violation of BLE Rules & Regulations, Paragraph 13.
Therefore, the Board has implemented the following policy as it relates to dogs left to roam in BLE unattended. Any Member/Tenant found to have a dog(s) roaming freely without supervision and under control will be issued ONE warning letter or a phone call from a Board member. Thereafter, if the dog(s) continues to be allowed to roam freely, a fine structure will be imposed as follows:
❖ 1st offense after warning letter and/or phone call | $ 50/dog
❖ 2nd offense after warning letter and/or phone call | $100/dog
❖ 3rd offense after warning letter and/or phone call | $150/dog
Jim Moyer has been kind enough to allow us to leave the upper (east) gate open when his “cattle are not present.” We very much appreciate Jim giving us another chance. When cattle are NOT present, Mark will latch the gate open and place a sign on it notifying folks that it does NOT need to be closed. This will be the only time you will NOT have to close the upper gate behind you. Once Jim notifies us that his cattle are present, Mark will close the gate and place a different sign on it that states, “Gate must remain closed at ALL times.” At this point, you MUST close the gate behind you at all times! This policy does NOT change how the lower (west) gate is handled and it MUST remain closed at all times. We need EVERYONE to follow these new guidelines. If not, Jim reserves the right to cancel this arrangement at any time. ELHA Board
Thanks to Jim Moyer for allowing us to do this.
The Board has called a Special Meeting to be held immediately following the annual meeting on July 11, 2015 in the Lodge at BLE.
Agenda for the meeting will be:
Please join us for this special meeting on July 11, 2015 immediately following the Annual Members Meeting.
ELHA Board
ELHA Members, We wanted to make you aware of a mistake (wrong date listed) that was listed on this year’s ballot. We want everyone to be able to participate in the voting and the annual picnic so please keep reading.
Incorrect Info – The ballots went out with a dated listed of July 18, 2015 for the annual members meeting and requested the ballots be returned by no later than July 17, 2015.
Correct Info – Annual Members meeting will start at 10am on July 11, 2015 and the ballots will need to be returned on or before July 10, 2105. We are very sorry for any confusion that this may have caused and look forward to seeing everyone on July 11th at 10am with the picnic to follow the meeting. Sincerely, ELHA Board
We have moved the Annual Meeting & Picnic to July 11, 2015 at 10 am. This change was made to accommodate a member who wanted to use the lodge for a wedding on the originally scheduled date of July 18, 2015. We are sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused but felt we should try to accommodate a fellow member for such a special day.
The Board meeting has been rescheduled to March 14, 2015 at 8am.
Note that the changed start time: 9am.

Click here for the Board Document and full details | All Members, guests, family members, agents, contractors, vendors, and employees must close the lower and upper easement gates. Whoever opens the gate must close or wait until the next person closes. The ELHA member of records is responsible for violations by guests, family members, agents, contractors, vendors, and employees.
All offenses: $250 fine.
There may occasions, during the winter months, when the upper gate may be left open, but only when permission has been received from Jim Moyer. Signs on the upper gate will inform you when it can be open and when it must be closed. The bottom gate must be closed at all times.
